For a few years, I was able to devote one or two of those increments to this blog a few times a week. In October 2007 sold my debut novel, THE FOREST OF HANDS AND TEETH, to Delacorte Press (it came out March 10, 2009 and hit the New York Times bestselling list in 2010). In October 2008 I quit my lawyer job and now I'm a full-time writer. My second book, THE DEAD-TOSSED WAVES, is a companion to the first and came out March 9, 2010. The third in the series, THE DARK AND HOLLOW PLACES, released March 22, 2011. My first anthology, FORETOLD: 14 Tales of Prophecy and Prediction, will be out fall 2012 as well as my first middle grade novel, INFINITY RING: DIVIDE AND CONQUER, Book 2 of Scholastic's new multi-author/multi-platform series. You so rock! =o)
I have been talking about you all day. I have to tell you, I LOVED your book. I picked it up last night, and read it, cover to cover. It blew me away!!!
You are insanely talented and I can't wait for the next one!
Thank you!
Got this article in my USAToday book update email and thought, "hey, I should read that book!" So I clicked on the image and was shocked to see that it had just come in a book order that I got in the mail two days before! So, I immediately cataloged it and just read it today (it's Spring Break). I loved it and can't wait to see where you take it now.
