Quitin' my day job

Well, today was officially my last day of work. I've quit to become a full time writer.... for a week and a half. Then I start at the new firm -- very very exciting. I'm drinking a glass of champagne as I type and am about to head out for a celebratory meal.

You know sometimes, you have to take stock of where you are in life. I feel like we spend so much time focusing on goals and what comes next, that we forget about now. We forget about celebrating where we are.

And you know what? I'm pretty darn happy right now :)

Don't forget to recommend some books for me to read during my time off!!

Congrats on quiting the day job. And being a full time writer for a week and half is great. :)

Books to read...if you haven't read any of JR Wards, Black Dagger Brotherhood then I'd suggest those. While they are stand alone books it's much better to read them in order. She is an amazing writer and you will be sucked into her world.

I'm not sure if you read paranormal or not. I can tell you this though, I really didn't read vampire books until hers and omg. They're the best.

Congrats also on the upcoming new job.

I like your way of celebrating.
